The name

Tolayda is said toh-LAY-da. The word follows the city's names. Toletum, Tulaytula, Toledo, Toleydo.

In Toledo, scholars carried science, medicine, and philosophy across Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and Castilian. They were making knowledge reachable. That is the work we are still in.

SeventyTwo is the foundation under the product. It takes several passes over one text and calls nothing final until those passes agree. The older story, that seventy-two scholars in Alexandria produced the same translation word for word, is legend. We do not treat it as history. The idea we keep is narrower. Different minds can examine one source and arrive at one dependable meaning.
